Language Support
Every Native language community holds unique ways of speaking, knowing, and expressing the world. My goals are to support the visions you carry—to help create materials, resources, and strategies that strengthen your language and reflect its deep connection to culture and land.

Whether you're developing teaching materials, documenting stories and songs, planning a language program, or exploring new ways to share your language with future generations, I offer my background in language revitalization. Through collaboration, we can design resources that reflect your community’s identity and priorities.
My approach is grounded in respect, reciprocity, and a belief in the power of language to sustain culture, strengthen communities, and carry knowledge forward for future generations.
From storybooks, audio books, and interactive books to games, flashcards, and reference resources, these materials make language learning engaging and alluring, fostering positive learning. Each resource can inspire new learners and fluent speakers.
Whether starting fresh or building on past work, I can help create and process recordings—transcribing, translating, and organizing materials into resources that support teaching and learning. I also provide training to help your community maintain a living archive of language, stories, and cultural knowledge.
Your language may already be documented in notes, recordings, or archives that are hard to reach, and those materials can be powerful for your work today. I can help you uncover, access, and digitize these resources so they’re ready to support your community’s language goals.
Collaboratively designed plans and materials for all ages—from K–12 and immersion classrooms to adult learners. Offerings include lesson plans, activity guides, quizzes, and engaging audio/video content tailored to your community’s goals.
Create pathways for community-wide language access through digital tools like online dictionaries, word-of-the-day posts, interactive learning platforms, and easy-to-understand grammar guides—all designed to make the language more visible, usable, and alive in daily life.
I work with communities to create tools and plans that strengthen and grow their language programs—through grant applications, surveys, and planning guided by community priorities. Each effort supports everyday use and the long‑term vitality of the language.
All materials I help create are fully community-led and community-owned. Any stories, recordings, words, or cultural knowledge shared with me are held in strict confidence and will never be used, published, or distributed without explicit community permission. I do not retain copies of materials unless specifically asked to for collaborative purposes. My role is to support your language goals through respectful collaboration—not to take, archive, or claim ownership of your language or cultural knowledge. Your language, your stories, and your decisions come first.
